An intimate building experience.

Trillium Homes is a boutique builder, tailoring homes for clients with a vision. As a small team of local building and design professionals, we are able to give our clients hands-on attention every step of the way. Our ethos is based on experience, integrity, and authenticity — at all times.

Collaboration comes naturally.

The Trillium Group is a close-knit family. Trillium Homes is a sister company to Trillium Projects, specializing in townhome and condo construction, and Trillium Development focusing on small to mid-scale boutique real estate development projects in Vancouver. We collaborate experience, ideas, and resources.

Working with Trillium Homes you get an intimate relationship with a dedicated custom home team, backed with the process, systems, experience and resources of a larger organization.

Our team is a passionate group of people with a mutual love of design, architecture, and building. We’ve worked hard to dispel an outdated construction culture, and, instead, have defined a supportive environment that invites everyone to engage and contribute.

Our philosophy is to provide an approachable, friendly, and inclusive service to our clients and consultants.

Our people.

Gareth identified his construction passion at an early age. Out of high school, he worked carpentry jobs for local builders, before enrolling and completing a Carpentry Apprenticeship and working for many years as a carpenter in his native East Devon, UK. Moving to Vancouver in 2006 to be closer to the mountains and ocean, Gareth started work right away in the boutique custom home market on the West Side and West Vancouver, before starting work for Trillium shortly after the Vancouver Olympics. In 2016, Gareth completed the Construction Management Bachelor’s Degree at BCIT, and became a Partner of Trillium Homes in 2021. He is passionate about contemporary architecture, airtight construction, and good design (in all aspects of life). In his spare time, Gareth can be found in the mountains on a bike, on a snowboard, or out for a hike with his wife and dog.
